Everyone deserves a 4-day workweek.

32 hours. Full pay. Full benefits.

WorkFour is building the movement for a 4-day workweek in the U.S. so everyone has the freedom to spend their time on what matters most.

About Us

Our Work

We’re creating a movement made up of unions, working families, policymakers, and business owners, all united behind one cause: the 4-day workweek.

  • Union & Worker Support

We offer technical assistance to unions and workers: drafting contract language, providing campaign strategies, and sharing resources.

  • Politics and Policy

We advance the development of 4-day workweek policies at the local, state, and federal levels via drafting bills, testifying at hearings, and developing campaigns.

  • WorkFour Chapters

We’re building a nationwide network of WorkFour chapters so you can help build the movement for the 4-day workweek in your state or locality.

  • Employer Engagement

We provide support and connections to executives and business leaders to help bring the 4-day workweek to their workplace and industry.

It’s Time to Change the Workweek

We’ve had the 5-day, 40-hour workweek since 1940. The way we work, who works, and when we work has changed a lot since then. But we’ve stuck with 5-days and 40-hours. How did we get here? Learn more.
